From Farabi to Ibn Khaldun: The Perception of State in the Early Muslim Intellectual’s Writings

This paper aims to analyze the perception of state in writings early Muslim intellectuals, particularly al-Farabi, al-Mawardi, Nizam al-Mulk, al-Ghazzali, Ibn Taymiyyah and Khaldun. All these six intellectuals have a massive contribution developing or Islamic political thought. intended find answer following questions regarding concept from their writings: firstly, debate around birth state; religious social need? Secondly, if it is need, then what about aspect religion state? Finally, influence existing politics on thought? research qualitative form based both primary secondary data. It hoped that this will contribute academia by analyzing Early within present context.
